Xunzi
Xunzi, born Xun Kuang, was a prominent Confucian philosopher during the late Warring States period of China. Often ranked as the third great Confucian thinker of antiquity, he is credited with synthesizing earlier traditions to create a cohesive philosophy that flourished during the Han dynasty. His teachings are preserved in the eponymous Xunzi, a collection of texts that remains a foundational work in East Asian intellectual history.
