Walter Rodney
Walter Anthony Rodney was a Guyanese historian, academic, and political activist. He is widely recognized for his influential 1972 work, How Europe Underdeveloped Africa, which examines the historical impact of colonial exploitation. Rodney remained active in political movements until his assassination in Georgetown, Guyana, in 1980.
