Victor Pelevin

Victor Pelevin is a Russian fiction writer born in 1962. His multi-layered postmodernist novels, such as Omon Ra, The Life of Insects, and Generation P, often fuse pop culture with esoteric philosophies and science fiction conventions. A laureate of the Russian Little Booker Prize and the Russian National Bestseller, his prose is frequently associated with the New Sincerity movement and incorporates elements of Buddhism and humanist philosophy.
