Susan Whitfield

Susan Whitfield is a British scholar and Professor in Silk Road Studies at the Sainsbury Institute for the Study of Japanese Arts and Cultures at the University of East Anglia. A former employee of the British Library, she is a historian and writer specializing in the history and archaeology of the Silk Road. Her body of work also includes research and writing regarding human rights and censorship in China.
