Sherry Turkle

Sherry Turkle is an American sociologist and psychologist serving as the Abby Rockefeller Mauzé Professor of the Social Studies of Science and Technology at MIT. She holds a PhD from Harvard University and focuses her research on psychoanalysis and human-technology interaction. Turkle has authored several books examining how people relate to computational objects, including her critically acclaimed memoir, Empathy Diaries.
