Senga Nengudi

Senga Nengudi is an African-American visual artist and curator whose practice spans sculpture, performance, and installation. She is recognized for creating abstract sculptures that integrate found objects with choreographed movement. Since the 1960s, she has been a prominent figure among avant-garde artists working in New York City and Los Angeles.
