Sarah Sze

Sarah Sze is an American artist and professor of visual arts at Columbia University. Her work explores the role of technology, information, and memory by utilizing everyday materials to create installations that often appear suspended in space. Drawing from Modernist traditions, Sze examines the relationship between mass-produced objects and institutional art settings. Her work has been exhibited internationally and is held in various major museum collections.
