Richard Sieburth

Richard Sieburth is a Professor Emeritus of French Literature, Thought and Culture and Comparative Literature at New York University. A dedicated translator and editor, he held a teaching career spanning 45 years, including ten years at Harvard and 35 years at NYU before his retirement in 2019. His academic work focuses on the intersection of literary studies and translation.
