Piero Manzoni

Piero Manzoni was an Italian avant-garde artist active from 1933 to 1963. Known for his ironic approach to the art object, he frequently utilized unconventional materials ranging from rabbit fur to human excrement to challenge traditional artistic boundaries. His work prefigured Conceptual Art and served as a significant influence on the Italian Arte Povera movement.
