NoViolet Bulawayo

NoViolet Bulawayo is the pen name of Zimbabwean author Elizabeth Zandile Tshele. She is the author of the novels We Need New Names and Glory, both of which were shortlisted for the Booker Prize. A graduate of Cornell University, she has taught fiction writing at Cornell and Stanford. Her work has received numerous honors, including the Pen/Hemingway Award and the Etisalat Prize for Literature.
