Nikil Saval

Nikil Saval is an American writer, editor, journalist, and politician serving in the Pennsylvania State Senate since 2021. Representing the 1st district, he is the first Asian American elected to the chamber. He currently serves as the Chair of the Philadelphia Delegation and the Democratic Chair of the State Senate’s Urban Affairs & Housing Committee.
