Michael Tanner

Michael Keith Tanner (1935–2024) was a British philosopher and opera critic. Throughout his career, he focused on the history of philosophy and the practice of art criticism. His work bridged the gap between academic philosophical inquiry and the critical analysis of operatic performances.
