Josef Stalin

Joseph Vissarionovich Stalin was a Soviet revolutionary and politician who served as the leader of the Soviet Union from 1924 until his death in 1953. He held the position of General Secretary of the Communist Party for three decades and served as premier starting in 1941. Stalin consolidated power to become a dictator by the 1930s and codified the official party interpretation of Marxism known as Marxism–Leninism.
