Jean Piaget

Jean Piaget (1896–1980) was a Swiss psychologist, biologist, and philosopher recognized for his foundational research on child development. His work, which encompasses the theory of cognitive development and genetic epistemology, established him as a significant figure in the fields of psychology and pedagogy. Throughout his career, he also contributed to the disciplines of zoology, malacology, and logic while serving as a university teacher.
