Jan Butterfield

Jan Butterfield (1937–2000) was an American art critic, writer, and teacher. Her work focused primarily on twentieth-century installation and craft artists, with a specific emphasis on those based in California and the American West. She contributed extensively to the field as both a journalist and an educator.
