Gunther Uecker

Günther Uecker (1930–2025) was a German visual artist recognized for his work as a painter, sculptor, and installation artist. He is best known for his signature nail reliefs and his association with the ZERO group, which he joined in 1961. Throughout his career, Uecker also contributed to the fields of illustration, jewelry design, and academic teaching.
