Good Wives

Louisa May Alcott was an American novelist best known for her 1868–69 coming-of-age work, Little Women. The novel follows the lives of the four March sisters as they transition from childhood to womanhood. Drawing from her own experiences, Alcott crafted a semi-autobiographical family saga that is widely recognized for its contributions to the realist novel and the Bildungsroman genre.
