George Nelson

George Nelson (1908–1986) was an American industrial designer and architect. As the lead designer for the Herman Miller furniture company, he and his studio, George Nelson Associates, created iconic 20th-century modernist furniture. He is widely recognized as a foundational figure in the development of American modernist design.
