Chigozie Obioma
Chigozie Obioma is a Nigerian writer born in 1986 in Akure. He is the author of three novels: The Fishermen, An Orchestra of Minorities, and The Road to the Country. His work has been translated into 30 languages and recognized with numerous honors, including an LA Times Book Prize, the Internationaler Literaturpreis, and the FT/Oppenheimer prize for fiction. He has also been named among Foreign Policy's 100 Leading Global Thinkers and NewAfrican magazine's most influential Africans.
