Bhavani Raman

Bhavani Raman is an Indian historian and an associate professor at the University of Toronto, where she serves as the associate chair of the Historical and Cultural Studies Department. Her research focuses on the intersections of law, culture, and intellectual history in South Asia. Additionally, she chairs the Tamil Worlds Initiative, a program dedicated to the study of Tamil history, culture, and politics.
