Anne Rice

Anne Rice (1941–2021) was an American author known for her contributions to Gothic, erotic, and Bible fiction. She achieved global recognition for The Vampire Chronicles, a series that sold nearly 100 million copies and included the 1994 film adaptation of Interview with the Vampire. Born in New Orleans, Rice began her publishing career in the 1970s and remains one of the most widely read authors in modern history.
