Andrew Wyeth

Andrew Newell Wyeth (1917–2009) was an American visual artist and a prominent figure in 20th-century art. Although he identified as an abstractionist, he was primarily a realist painter known for his regionalist style. His work frequently focused on the landscapes and people of his hometown in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, and his summer residence in Cushing, Maine.
