Alexey Brodovitch

Alexey Vyacheslavovich Brodovitch was a Russian-American photographer, art director, and educator of Belarusian descent. He is best known for his influential tenure as the art director of the American fashion magazine Harper's Bazaar, a position he held from 1934 to 1958. His professional practice spanned graphic design, advertising, and fashion photography.
