Adelita Husni Bey

Adelita Husni-Bey is an Italian-Libyan visual artist, photographer, video artist, performance artist, and draftsperson. Her work is held in the collections of MoMA and the Whitney Museum. She represented Italy at the 2017 Venice Biennale, received the 2023 Black Mountain College prize, and served as a fellow at the Vera List Center for Art and Politics from 2020 to 2022. Her filmography includes Postcards from the Desert Island, released in 2011.
